Chicken is a short film based on the world wide social problem of Child Trafficking. The film deals with the harsh realities of Human Trafficking and Child prostitution that continues behind closed curtains of the society. Asima, the victim in the case, is a thirteen year old girl, who has been brought to a brothel by a man named Pintu and thrown in the hands of another women named Roma to be taken care of .The story gradually unfolds to the sad truth of Asima being compared to a young chicken and how the young chickens are handled, stored in cages and fed for human consumption and then finally, slaughtered.
